getting big -- 3 months

Rory turned 3 months yesterday (2-3-08) so here are a couple of pictures from Saturday.

~he often smiles in the bathtub, but for some reason when i'm holding the camera he usually stares at the camera instead of me and stops smiling......?
(most of the shots i've posted so far where he's smiling, one of us--either me or padraic--is holding the camera and the other is getting him to smile.)
(and also: if you're wondering about the red spot on his chest...it's a hemangioma, a spot of blood vessels that grows on the skin surface. the dr said it'll slowly get bigger then eventually go away)

2 months

Rory was 2 months yesterday and had his 2 month check up and shots today. He did surprisingly well with the shots. I thought it was going to be a long, loud car ride home, but he only cried for about 10 seconds and fell asleep before we even made it back to the car.

Rory weighed in at 10 1/2 pounds, 22 inches long, and his head measured 15 inches. He's getting better at holding his head up, smiles all the time for mom, dad and strangers who look nice, seems to enjoy taking baths, and likes to slurp on his fists during tummy time. hooray for me i'm 2 months old!
